AmeriCorps STL
In addition to hosting a full-time National Service program focused on Emergency Response, AmeriCorps St. Louis (ACSTL) provides the city’s unhoused population with year-round weekly daytime sheltering, extreme heat emergency daytime sheltering, and extreme cold emergency overnight sheltering. The goal of ACSTL’s shelter program is to connect every individual with applicable services in addition to providing immediate access to a safe space to rest and care for physical needs.

Ashrei Foundation - North City Photo ID Project
The Ashrei Foundation operates a weekly photo ID and birth certificate program in Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood, open to all people who live in Missouri. We provide financial and logistical assistance to support Missourians obtaining certified copies of a birth certificate from anywhere in the US, a MO photo ID, voter registration, and replacement social security cards. We also provide bus tickets to help program guests get to the related government offices after they receive services with us. The program operates on most Thursdays from 10am-2pm; we also can offer off-site clinics in partnership with local agencies/organizations. We also co-facilitate (together with St. Francis Xavier Church) the statewide MO ID Access Coalition, and are eager to build power with other community partners to advocate for IDs for all.

City of St. Louis: Department of Human Services - Homeless Services Division
The City of St. Louis - Dept. of Human Services' Homeless Services Division manages federal, state, and local funds to address the needs of unhoused individuals and families. As the Collaborative Applicant for the St. Louis City Continuum of Care (CoC), they ensure the renewal of over $13 million in permanent housing funding. Their Client Services Team collaborates with providers, conducts outreach, collects data, and helps unhoused individuals access permanent housing resources.

Conflict Resolution Center - St. Louis
We are a 501c3 non-profit, offering free conflict coaching and mediation for residents and employees in the City of St. Louis. We help people have hard conversations, whether it's landlord-tenant, neighbor-neighbor or citizen-police. Agencies or their clients as well as the general public can use our portal at: crcstl.org/gethelp.

DBSA St. Louis Empowerment Center
The St. Louis Empowerment Center provides free peer support, recovery services, and a sense of community for those with mental health or substance use disorders. Services include case management, daily self-help groups, free lunch, showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, and recreational activities. All services are offered at no charge.

DOORWAYS
For 36 years, DOORWAYS has supported the unhoused and those at risk of homelessness while managing HIV and chronic illnesses. We provide 230 housing units, emergency accommodations, and over $3 million annually for rent and utility assistance. Our new Jefferson Avenue Campus offers integrated services including food support, behavioral health, psychiatric care, job training, and self-development programs. Next year, we'll add an independent pharmacy and community health testing for HIV/STIs.

Epworth Children and Family Services operates a broad spectrum of youth services in St. Louis. Street Outreach Program and Drop-in Center: Serving at risk and homeless youth ages 11-24 with basic needs, safe space, and Case Management services. Youth Emergency Services: short term emergency shelter in Webster Groves. Transitional Housing opportunities both structured and scattered sites.

Haven Recovery is a licensed provider of substance use, mental health, and recovery services, offering supportive housing at various levels: Recovery (for substance recovery), Recuperative (for homeless individuals with medical needs), Next Step (independent apartments with community support), and Rental Homes (traditional leases for single-family homes).

Highway to Destiny (HTD)
HTD serves the homeless in St. Louis City and St. Louis County by providing food, hygiene items, clothing, household items and other resources that help them transition into communities.

Home Sweet Home is a nonprofit furniture bank that works with over 50 organizations in Saint Louis City and County to furnish the homes of newly housed individuals and families.

HOPE
HOPE provides free in-home counseling and case management for adults 60+ in St. Louis, covering housing, finances, and benefit education. We offer subsidized housing options and support services for caregivers, including emotional support and personal care planning. Our expert counselors offer unbiased reverse mortgage (HECM) guidance.

Horizon Housing Development Company
Horizon Housing Development Company (HHDC) is a non-profit providing permanent supportive housing and services to individuals and families affected by disabilities and homelessness in St. Louis. HHDC operates ten buildings within the city, serving men, women, and families with developmental and mental disabilities.

We stabilize families in crisis by offering skill development, professional support, and temporary housing to promote lasting change. Referred by shelters, churches, and schools, families in our program address root causes, develop life skills, and work toward a more equitable future.

Independence Center
Independence Center (IC) is a community mental health organization in St. Louis for adults with serious mental illness. Since 1981, IC has used the Clubhouse model to offer supported housing, case management, psychiatric care, counseling, integrated treatment, employment and education support, and wellness programs. IC provides a restorative environment, fostering belonging, confidence, and independence for those in recovery.

The Institute for Community Alliances (ICA), based in Des Moines, Iowa, serves as the HMIS Lead Agency and System Administrator in 14 states. Providing support to over 4,000 users, ICA uses data-driven solutions to address housing instability, homelessness, and food insecurity.

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri
Legal Services of Eastern Missouri provides free civil legal representation and social work support to community members who are income eligible. A few areas of assistance our programming provides include: Housing, Consumer, Health and Welfare, Public Benefits, Education, Family Law, Seniors, Youth, and more.

Lydia's House
Lydia’s House provides transitional housing and support for domestic violence survivors and their children, offering up to two years of safe, pet-friendly housing. It serves as a bridge between emergency shelters and independent living, providing advocacy and resources to help residents rebuild their lives. Committed to breaking the cycle of abuse, Lydia’s House is the only standalone transitional housing in eastern Missouri and one of the largest in the U.S. It is not an emergency shelter.

At Magdala House, we’re more than a shelter—we’re home to a new beginning and renewed hope. For 55 years, Magdala House, a non-profit human and social services organization, has provided community-based services to the unhoused as well as individuals with intellectual disabilities and substance abuse disorders in the St. Louis area. We are dedicated to serving the needs of individuals who are underserved and unserved. We are a leading partner with the city of St. Louis, offering emergency shelter, transitional housing, and rapid rehousing to reduce homelessness.

Missouri Department of Mental Health
Since 1994, DMH has been providing affordable housing for individuals with disabilities, starting with three grants for the Shelter Plus Care (SPC) program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This program, established under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 1987, initially offered rental assistance to homeless individuals and families in St. Louis. Since 1999, DMH has significantly expanded its SPC projects to serve most of the state.

Missouri State Public Defender
The Missouri State Public Defender (MSPD) provides high-quality legal representation to low-income individuals accused of crimes. Using a holistic defense approach, MSPD addresses clients' non-legal issues, such as behavioral health and housing, to improve case outcomes. MSPD has a trial office in downtown St. Louis, and clients can apply online or in person.

Missouri Veterans Endeavor (MOVE) provides long-term supportive housing and clinical case management services to Veterans and their families experiencing homelessness.

Our Lady's Inn Maternity Homes
A program for pregnant women and their children experiencing housing insecurity. Offerings include emergency placement in the residential program, basic needs provided for, peri-natal support, counseling, housing navigation, and case management.

As a longtime public servant across several City departments, I am uniquely positioned to provide feedback on proposed procedural/operational changes and the departmental/legislative changes that may be required or need to be considered, along with the political feasibility.

Saint Louis Mental Health Board
Established in 1994, Saint Louis MHB is an independent government taxing authority administering two special property taxes: the Community Mental Health Fund and the Community Children’s Services Fund. Tax dollars are granted to non-profit organizations that provide high quality services that benefit City residents.

St. Francis Xavier Church
St. Francis Xavier Church's ID and Birth Certificate Program provides direct support with obtaining Missouri photo IDs and birth certificates. The program operates weekly on Tuesday mornings, providing payment and logistical support with IDs and birth certificates up to once in a two year period. We also co-convene the Missouri State ID Access Coalition, a statewide coalition committed to eliminating structural barriers to identification.

The Library has more than four million books and items in its collection and 114,330 active cardholders. ARCH by HomeScreen connects non-profits with landlords in the St. Louis metro area to help at-risk and homeless individuals find stable housing. Through innovative technology and unique screening criteria, ARCH is reshaping tenant screening to support those in need.

United Way Greater St. Louis
United Way 211 is integral in ensuring that City residents experiencing housing crises can access information about essential services 24/7. 211 provides referrals for food, transportation, rapid rehousing, rent assistance, utility payment programs, and much more. Those who are identified as homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless are further assessed for shelter eligibility and provided referral to available shelter.

Wellston Loop CDC
Located in the Wellsgoodfellow neighborhood, the WLCDC provides hot meals, a low-no cost thrift store, and peer support counseling to help those seeking a path to recovery. Transportation is proved for those involved with treatment. We also distribute Narcan and other basic need items three days per week. Indoor and outdoor space is available for Providers and Vendors.

Places for People
Today, Places for People serves more than 3,150 people annually, offering an individualized approach to health and healing. Places for People is dedicated to shining a light on the road to recovery for those experiencing the toughest cases of mental health and substance use disorders. By combining genuine, human connection with evidence-based care, the expert staff at Places for People work tirelessly to help those we serve develop the skills to effectively manage their illnesses and lead meaningful and productive lives. In July 2017, Places for People became a Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization. PFP was the only one in St. Louis City or County at the time. CCBHO is a federal designation. CCBHOs focus on improving access to behavioral health care, crisis response, and providing effective treatment approaches across the lifespan
