  • AmeriCorps STL

    In addition to hosting a full-time National Service program focused on Emergency Response, AmeriCorps St. Louis (ACSTL) provides the city’s unhoused population with year-round weekly daytime sheltering, extreme heat emergency daytime sheltering, and extreme cold emergency overnight sheltering. The goal of ACSTL’s shelter program is to connect every individual with applicable services in addition to providing immediate access to a safe space to rest and care for physical needs.

  • DBSA St. Louis Empowerment Center

    The St. Louis Empowerment Center provides free peer support, recovery services, and a sense of community for those with mental health or substance use disorders. Services include case management, daily self-help groups, free lunch, showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, and recreational activities. All services are offered at no charge.

  • HOPE

    HOPE provides free in-home counseling and case management for adults 60+ in St. Louis, covering housing, finances, and benefit education. We offer subsidized housing options and support services for caregivers, including emotional support and personal care planning. Our expert counselors offer unbiased reverse mortgage (HECM) guidance.

  • Independence Center

    Independence Center (IC) is a community mental health organization in St. Louis for adults with serious mental illness. Since 1981, IC has used the Clubhouse model to offer supported housing, case management, psychiatric care, counseling, integrated treatment, employment and education support, and wellness programs. IC provides a restorative environment, fostering belonging, confidence, and independence for those in recovery.
